Published 7 months ago • 1 min read

STEP 1 • SPEAK
Father, we come to You today with humble hearts ready to receive Your truth. Give us You wisdom and understanding as we study Your Word. In Jesus name, Amen.

STEP 2 • TEXT
This is my comfort in my affliction, that your promise gives me life. (Psalm 119:50, ESV)

STEP 3 • OBSERVE
Today, let's observe our scripture by summarizing it and identifying the truths it states.
Tip: Record your challenge journey in a notebook or journal.
In your challenge journal, answer the following.
QUESTIONS:
1. How would you summarize the challenge verse? What does the verse say, what are the facts?
2. What truths do you see in this verse?
3. What does it teach you about God?
4. What does it teach you about mankind/yourself?
5. What connection do you see between God's comfort and His promises (or His Word)? Keep this question in mind as you continue through this challenge. We will revisit this question daily as you continue to meditate on and study this verse.

STEP 4 • REMEMBER
What is one takeaway from your meditation on this verse today?

STEP 5 •YOUR TURN
1. Create a "God's Promise List" in your challenge journal. Find and list scriptures that reflect promises God has made to you. Use these to remind you daily of God's faithfulness and the hope you have in Him! Begin today by finding and writing at least one Scripture. You will add to your list each day of this challenge.
2. Take some time to prayerfully meditate on the challenge verse and journal your thoughts.

See you tomorrow! ~Lori
